Time Out Doha Best Friday Brunch for 2012 & 2013
Originally from Canada, Chef Shaun commenced his career as third cook at Delong’s Family Restaurant in 2003. He has spent most of his career developing his skills before joining the Culinary Institute of Canada to expand his culinary experience.
A few years later and after working for a couple of different restaurants and hotels such as Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Chef Shaun left his home country and travelled to the United States to join The Westmoor Club in the capacity of first cook.
Chef Shaun worked with many international well-known chefs and right before joining Grand Hyatt Doha he was working in Australia for Hyatt Regency Coolum.
“My passion for cooking started when I was 12; I used to bake cheese cakes and give them to the neighbours as Christmas gifts,” said Chef Shaun when we asked him why he chose the culinary arts as a career.
